Home Sweet Home
I'm back after my road trip. I really love Norway and the Norwegians, but it's still nice to be home again.
The weather has been miserable, rain and strong winds, so we haven't been able to be outside. The place for our visits here is an island in the Atlantic Ocean just off the coast and the weather tends to change quite quickly. But despite the weather it's been really nice to meet my husband's family again and spend some time together.
But due to my troublesome health problems, the trip has made me very sore and tired, so it's lucky that I have three weeks left of my vacation. Right now I just have the energy to do some light gardening and make sure my cultivated plants are doing well.
The rest of my vacation will consist of, besides pure rest, some improvement work on my updated kitchen. There's, for example, a lot of painting left. I like painting so it's okay.
There's a lot going on in the world right now, most of it terrible and sad, so I choose to disconnect from the outside world as much as possible.
I'm concentrating on my interests instead and hoping that the summer weather will show up before the holidays are over so I can enjoy some outdoor life for a change.
Well, I don't have much more to say at the moment, so I'll end by wishing you a nice summer with lots of sun and joy.
