When thoughts wander astray

I don't know why I'm having such difficulties to get my thoughts down to a single, simple post nowadays.

I'm not ill or worn out or anything, I'm actually feeling quite well at the moment, and there's absolutely no lack of thoughts and opinions in my head, it's literally a tangle of thoughts but it's to get them out of there that's the problem.

I refuse to write about the corona situation any further, I think most people are fatally bored of that if you'll excuse my choice of words.

One very important subject to talk about, which btw is a big debate issue here in Sweden at the moment, is domestic violence. Five swedish women has been killed by a man they had a relation with in just a couple of weeks and this has caused outrage and anger all around. But this is a problem that always been a reality for many women, but for some reason is rarely talked about.

This leads to an interesting topic that I would like to delve into a little more when I have the time and opportunity, namely gender history. This to better understand the reasons why women have been subordinate to men throughout history and what mechanisms in society have laid the foundation for this subordination, but also how norms around what is perceived as female and male arose and changed.

But right now I have absolutely no flow to my writing, so it's no use even trying to accomplish a cohesive blog post. Hopefully I'll be back on track again soon...

I wish you a wonderful new month, May is a foretaste of summer and that makes at least my mood to
rise from the somewhat gloomy mood of the long and dark winter here in Sweden.

Take care of yourself, keep your distance and have consideration of your fellow human beings.

XOXO
