Blog-drought..and men..
I don't really know why, but I have an unusually difficult time finding topics to blog about right now. Maybe it has to do with this involuntary isolation, but really the thoughts should flow extra much now when there is so much alone-time, but they don't. Another thing that blocks writing is the feeling of repeating myself regarding the topics I choose.
It is easy to write about the pandemic because it is the reality we are all forced to live in right now, but it becomes often a bit monotonous and tiresome. I would rather write something completely unrelated in order to forget that hopeless reality for a moment. But what....?
Okay, I'm going to pick a random subject just to get something written down, and I pick....Ta-da!...Men...lol...
You don't have to stop reading if you happen to be of the opposite sex, I'm gonna be nice, well mostly nice with just a tiny touch of humour and irony.
So men....you gotta love them don't you? Some are soft and timid, some are tough guys, some are rich and arrogant, some are nerds and then there are mama's boys. There's a man for every woman out there, the tricky part is to find and catch just your matching male.
So how do you go about that then? First you have to figure out their natural habitat. For example, if you want a sports nerd, just visit the local pub on a Saturday afternoon.Or if your perfect match is that timid but highly intelligent guy, you need to hang outside the library or the museum, and if Mr Right is the rich and flashy type who love his Rolex more than his mother, you just have to get an appointment at the plastic surgery clinic, buy designer garments, get your hair done at the Sassoon Salon and book a table at the most expensive restaurant in town.
Easy Peasy....
When you finally have located your man, and dazzled him with your womanly charm, you need to tame him. Well that isn't really the right word, raise him like a puppy is more like it. You want him to eat out of your hand, sit nicely beside you, always be happy to see you, listen to your every command, shower you with wet kisses, be cute with your friends and don't pee on the floor....
Okay, if you managed to read all the way, I apologize for my lousy humor and meaningless post. Hopefully, both my creativity and desire to write will start flowing soon.
