Happy Feet

I bought myself a pair of new winter boots the other day. First and foremost because I needed a new pair, but also because I’m still able to walk. A sad reason, I know, but the condition of my feet and legs has become such a problem that I now have difficulties to walk on anything that isn’t absolutely flat and free from any obstructions like snow edges, lumps of ice, etc. Since I can’t feel my feet, my balance is affected and it doesn't take much to make an involuntary and very dangerous somersault....

So to cheer me up I got myself these bright yellow and fur-lined boots, warm, super comfy very cheerful and with non-slip soles.

I am still waiting for my referral to the specialist clinic for examining the nerve pathways in the legs and feet. In the meanwhile, I try to walk as much as I can and dare, to keep my feet and legs moving.

Hoping for dry and cold snow to walk on this winter instead of wet slippery snow and ice. It's been raining here a couple of days now, and the little snow we had got is almost gone, except where it has been transformed into glass slippery ice.

With the elevated temperatures due to the climate change, one has to wonder how long people here at the northern hemisphere will have the privilege to get a white christmas....

Oki-doki ppl, enough with the pessimism....just look at my happy, fun and sunny shoes will ya’….

XOXO

I guess you wonder why I think my shoes would be so interesting as to blog about...Well, their not...but I'm in a place right now where I find it extremely difficult to be inspired to blog at all, so just have  faith and a little patience with me....I'll bounce back...
